Permalink Eddie Bertrand the missing years?

Hey I've been going through old posts here and stumbled on the one when Eddie showed up in 2007. What a fun time. I'm trying to fill in some holes. Maybe you can help?

I was very active then (2005-2008) and I've been spotty at best since then. So I'm sorry if this has been answered elsewhere but I know some of the members here got closer with Eddie.

Did anyone ever discus what he did after the first surf wave? I have a vinyl EP of him actually it's called Eddie and the Snowmen and he's doing more garage based/Beatles stuff. I'd assume it's mid 60s by the influence.

Then we was back for the reunion in the 80s then disappeared till 2007ish. He told Tiki Tena he had boxes of strings in his possession including flatwounds from the 60s so it's not like he chucked all his equipment.

I remember being obsessed with the Showmen when I got into surf music and pre his comeback in the 2000s I tried to track him down. I got as close to talking with Doug Henson. Who I still have the email from in 2005 when he invited me to talk with him about the Showmen on the phone.

If anyone has anything to ad please do.

he was in a band called "moxie", in the 70's I believe. There are pictures of him then floating around.

edit: Former moxie member George Koen is a friend, i have a few pics. Can I upload them?
