Sounds fantatsic!
Great eleki vibrato technique on Ringo Mura Kara.
Love this.
Cheers,
Jeff
Thanks Jeff! That vibrato is hard to do, it's a weird kind of pull up on the vibrato arm thats kind of counter intuitive. Took me awhile to wrap my head around till I realized it came from trad Japanese singing inflection. I don't think I've got it quite down, so I was a bit conservative with it

What pedal are you using on That Sweet Girl?
Is that a Korg Miku pedal?
Sounds pretty cool whatever it is.

That's an interesting pedal, but no I didn't use anything like that. The lead guitar on that song is just a guitar into a joyo tremolo pedal into a fender reverb, into a fender deluxe amp. There's also a baritone guitar, but I think the sound you're referring to is a trumpet, a plain old trumpet. We hired a session guy to play the horn part.

Wow! Good good work!
It sounds more eleki than some old Eleki albums.
I don´t know any song in original yet.
Do the japanese people about this release? It´s a very nice bow to the old japanese sound!
Are japanese music fans interested in such an album? Do they know that a lot of surf music fans love this eleki stuff?
Thanks for this album.
— Twang cheers!
