"Merry Christmas, I Don't Want To Fight Tonight" was written by Joey Ramone for a solo record, though it was later recorded by The Ramones. Frankie and the Pool Boys tried to do a Phil Spector "Wall of Sound" arrangement like you might find on his legendary Christmas album. This song is on the "Seasonal Favorites, Volume 5" from Double Crown Records or available for download from Bandcamp Also on Spotify
The video alludes to the rift between Johnny and Joey Ramone, and we wish for peace between all brothers and sisters.

Thanks for listening!!! The singer is Kayla Fowler, who mostly sings jazz but has also done R&B. She recently left the Bay Area, so I don't know how much I'll get to work with her again. with the Pool Boys she sang the background vocals for "Tis Tok" on Cap'n Coconuts and the lead vocal on "Summer Cold" on Spin the Bottle. She's also the go-go dancer in the "Spin the Bottle" ad. She is amazingly talented and a pleasure to work with.
