When I'm not writing and playing music with The SurfAces, I channel my inner Michael Hedges/Anthony Phillips via original tunes I write and perform with my Hewett 11-string Harp Guitar.

Interestingly, it's been a lot easier to find gigs for a surf band than for less easier to categorize original music.

I play bass in a Jimmy Buffett/trop rock band. I’ve also been learning Old Time fiddle tunes, and recently started bagpipe lessons. I’m a student drummer/piper with a Fire Pipes & Drums Band.
