Coming from a punk background, dressing up to play is a bit of a change of attitude. I wear a suit. Adam & Tony usually wear bowling shirts or something vaguely smart. For punk and blues you can get away with jeans and a T shirt, but with surf I think a decent outfit really helps identify you as a band. You look a lot more pro, and, as I learned quite quickly, in a suit you never look crap. I look at some photos of our early shoes in Hawaiian shirts and we look pretty rubbish. Of all the photos of me in a suit, it looks pretty timeless. Classic almost. It does help getting the suit to fit and flatter you. — |

We take a bowling shirt and Trilby approach.

The trouble with matching outfits is that whenever someone leaves the band, you have to find a replacement who's the same size! —The Miramars (2017-2022) https://www.facebook.com/themiramars / https://soundcloud.com/themiramars |

That is AWESOME! (Also suicidal between the months of April and December down here!) I’m definitely weird when it comes to this - some costumes I find unforgivably tacky and tasteless, while others excite and delight. This one delights! —Daniel Deathtide |

This was Version 2.0 of The Fintastics. Version 3.0 knocked it down to three members, then our drummer quit. We are currently looking for a replacement drummer for version 4.0. —_ Hi, I'm Gellert, guitarist for The Fintastics. |

So after committing to our dickies work shirt look, I realized I didn't have any more of the patches. Ordered a few more. Ordered another shirt for the new drummer. Yesterday I sat down to sew the patch onto the shirt...can't find them ANYWHERE. so annoying! I've turned the house upside down in what appears to be a fruitless search. Drummer might be in a plain blue shirt tomorrow... —Matt Heaton & the Electric Heaters |

Looking good guys! I refuse to ever wear a Hawaiian shirt. I just think they are goofy. Bowling shirts or Dickies work shirts are cool however!! I’ve got zero issues with wearing those! |

Matching guitars is next level for sure! Though it might be a particularly hard move in my case. Can't quite seem to get a good shot of all of us, but imagine three people dressed like this! Matt Heaton & the Electric Heaters |
