60 and Surfin' - KFJC Anniversary Surf Show
Saturday October 26 at 5PM @ Foothill College, Appreciation Hall
Join us for a surf music show and live broadcast to celebrate KFJC's 60th anniversary and its history with surf music. At Appreciation Hall on the Foothill College campus (12345 El Monte Road, Los Altos Hills, CA). All ages, doors at 4:30pm.

I'm very excited. I checked flights, again. It's painful to fly from sw Kansas to the bay area. I hope the internet is my friend during the broadcast.

The show will be broadcast with live video through KFJC.org, and the audio for the show will be available from the KFJC archives for 2 weeks after the show.

Just curious to know if anyone is coming from a distance...
KFJC is super stoked about the 60th anniversary and this show.
Just to let you know - we will suggest a donation of $20 to benefit KFJC and the Foothill College parking lot charges $3 per car.

Rick from Portland Oregon area is coming down.
He was asking if there was a eating/meet up before
Planned anywhere.
I told him I am driving up from so cal, and not sure what time I’ll have.
But if I do have time, I’d like to eat/meet up before also.
What is close to there?

I am going to be busy, setting up and all, on Saturday afternoon.
There are no restaurants close to Foothill College. The closest are in Los Altos. Give me an idea of the type of food you want and I can think of a recommendation.
Otherwise, there will be a food truck with Mexican food at the event.
There are fears that we will sell out, no way to know about that. But be sure to show up early.

The live stream will go from 5pm to 10pm Pacific, possibly later if we are running late.
Go to kfjc.org and you will find easy links to the video or the audio.
Of course, if you are local, you can listen on 89.7FM.
I will post links to the audio archives after the show. Video archives are not available.

News bulletin- the food truck cancelled on us - big pain!
KFJC will bring in some pizzas around 7pm and will just ask for a small amount to cover costs. If that does not appeal to you, eat before you arrive or bring something to eat - there are some benches and tables around the campus.
