Just bought an AV RI Jag in Surf Green. Brand Spanking New. The dealership, which is out of state, is setting it up with 12 gauge flatwounds at no extra coast.
I have picks, if anyone is interested, but don't know how to post them.

stigger: Maybe this site might be useful: http://www.hello.com/index.php I use www.hello.com to host/post pictures to the DaveBlog. I think it just might work as a place to host your photos. -dp |

I think I get to eat Top Ramen during June and July... But, I think you'd better get enough Top Ramen, Tuna Fish and Macaroni and Cheese to last until at least September, my friend! |

Dave I did not even go food shopping this week, I am living off whatever is left int he house, until I start losing weight. Then I will bulk purchase my noodles and mac n cheese. I think I will be too busy playing the Jag anyway to want to eat. one quick side note, my girlfriend was fuckign screaming at me "No more guitars!" This is probably my last guitar for a long while. I bought her an expensive pair of jeans to keep her quite. At least I have pretty decked out surf gear. |

Hey Stigger! Nice Jag! Your grilfriend should be stoked for you. I have tried to sell off a couple of guitars but my wife won't let me..."but honey, that one's so cool." or "You can't sell that one, it's your first guitar!" Believe me, I count my blessings. |

heh, thats funny paul. My girlfriend hates when I buy new guitars but she will never let me sell one either. She caught me trying to sell one of my les paul's once and she went even more ape shit. "I am going to buy it, so don't even bother" was here reply. woman, go figure |

UPDATE: The guy from the music shop emailed me. He told me they did not have any flatwounds in 12 gauge, which was my request. He said he put 13's on it (d'addario flatwounds) I have never used a bigger gauge than 11's. I have no clue what this is gunna be like. But I hear these Jag's play themselves Last edited: May 21, 2006 11:38:50 |
