Wow, that's awesome, surf trips are the bomb, I think now that the only thing that could be better would be to combine playing music and surfing trips into one.

I'll tell you something though, there are a million little coves and beaches from the Gold Coast to Sydney that have no crowds and great waves apart from the big name places, although they can also be good on their day.

Like the other side of Byron cape is a place called 'Tallows' which has great lefts and peaks further down, and for some reason or another, not a great deal of people surf there.

Tallows is at the end of a stretch of beach that is is called 7 mile beach, as you could imagine there are a lot of beach breaks along that stretch, the trick is get to them.
