The Reverend Horton Heat (Dallas-Texas, USA)

https://www.facebook.com/reverendhortonheat/

https://www.instagram.com/revhortonheatofficial/?fbclid=IwAR2lAXhNazDQAJkVuE4BRZJYcmUFZHJ_4H7_VE8ogZjzVw4ooPsdHOStxew

https://www.allmusic.com/artist/the-reverend-horton-heat-mn0000462110

Biography (From Facebook page)

REVEREND HORTON HEAT still performs nearly 200 shows annually, including their trademark Horton’s Hayride Festival in Southern California, which has expanded to an end-of-the-year jamboree under the name Horton’s Holiday Hayride. The band has also wowed sold-out crowds with their multi-city residencies across America, including performances at Coachella, Reading, Austin City Limits, Riot Fest and countless other festivals. The Texas troubadours also took a unique approach to the term ‘Special Guests’ on recent tours. Recalling the time the band opened for Jerry Lee Lewis, Heath had a vision, “The idea of playing in Jerry’s backing band would have been pretty neat. So every once in a while we’ll have a load of fun putting that aspect in our live set. In the middle of our set, we’ll have a special guest come on stage for a mini-set where REVEREND HORTON HEAT is the backing band. The first time we did it was with Lemmy Kilmister. We stopped our set midway, the road crew dragged a Marshall amp on stage, wiped the Rickenbacker clean and out came Lem. He was adamant on playing deep cuts, but I fought tooth and nail with him to do ‘Ace Of Spades.’ I told him, ‘Lemmy, we must do this song, we have to give the people want they want.’ He took a drag of his smoke, looked me square in the eye, and said ‘Never give them what they want, give them what they need!’”

With over 1 million albums sold and nearly 35 years in the game, Heath and company have been delivering blood-pressure inducing scriptures to millions of fans worldwide. Call it rock and roll, psychobilly or what have you, REVEREND HORTON HEAT is often considered an early architect of the latter genre (at least on this side of the Atlantic) and occupies a peculiar place in American musical terrain.

The Treble Spankers (Netherlands)

" Unfortunately The Treble Spankers have decided to come to an end. Since Phantom Frank's injury will not be cured for some time, Polydor and the Spankers agreed not to release the new cd 'Gri Gri'.

Gerritsen will keep himself busy with The Phantom Four.

Marcel Kruup and Maarten Heijblok will go on with Los Tiki-Boys and The Herb Spectacles.

Frank Sloos will go on with Kanipchen-fit.

We would like to thank our fans for their support over the years. "

Biography (From http://www.treblespankers.nl/)

The Treble Spankers are now an integral part of Dutch music history. Their first album Araban earned a cult status at US college radio. The next single Red Hot Navigator became a radio hit in Holland, their second album Hasheeda lingered in the Dutch Album Top 100 for weeks and even stood at the top of Holland’s leading music magazine OOR’s ‘moordlijst’. Glorious shows on the Lowlands festival and Pinkpop proved their triumph is no accident.
Success has not kept the musical cowboys from day-to-day rehearsals in order to excel in front of you as the best and most playing band of this moment. And that’s a good thing too, because a concert by these Amsterdam wags is an experience you are bound to remember for a long time. Their music is rebellious, and as mysterious as the swamps of Sumatra, and expresses the mysticism of the American Indians. One moment you find yourself on a surf board in Waimea Bay, the next you are in a seedy night club in Casablanca in 1942. Several guest musicians and other surprise elements cause a Treble Spankers’ show to be even more exciting.
These musical omnivores don’t care a rap for trends and externals. They provided magnificent songs by diverse artists such as Kraftwerk, Herb Alpert and 2 Unlimited with new energy. Casually, they added a few classics to music history by means of their own brilliant compositions.
The Treble Spankers are the already legendary Marcel ‘Supermod’ Kruup (rhythm guitar), Frank Sloos (a hypnotizing drummer), Maarten Heijblok (bass) and ‘Phantom’ Frank Gerritsen, who not only makes his guitar jump around like Jimi Hendrix in a pinball machine but can also make it sound like a macho flamenco singer from Andalusia. Be sure you get to see The Treble Spankers before they conquer the world!

The Vivisectors (Brooklyn-New York, USA)

Originally from Russia

https://www.discogs.com/artist/220124-The-Vivisectors

https://thevivisectors.bandcamp.com/

Biography (From Facebook page)

"... The Vivisectors are surf-punk with Russian soul and a bit of metal flavor." Steven Wishnia

The Vivisectors are a psychedelia-surf band, originally from Russia, but who have recently relocated to Brooklyn, NY. The band has toured the U.S. East Coast yearly since 2009 and have finally decided to spend a bit more time in the states this time around. The Vivisectors started out as a solo project of it's founder Mike "Vivisector" Antipow and has since grown to a three piece tight knit ensemble that includes Ivan Antipow (bass), and Brooklyn native Ronan Berry. The Vivisector's music can go from slow dark doom tunes reminiscent of the Gulag tunes of Mother Russia to in your face metal-sounding rock n' roll that get's the audience pumping it's fists. Best of all, it's almost all instro-mental, so no translations needed. The music speaks for itself and it may even yell on occasion. The Vivisectors started as a one man instro band and has since become famous for their Gulag Tunes, combining sunny surf music and Russian prison songs. They keep the dark side of rock'n'roll alive and current.
