I just discovered this classy Danish quartet this past week and I have never seen them discussed here. Anyone else a fan of the Tremolo Beer Gut? They have a very Bambi Molesters/Pilgrims/Spaghetti Western sound (yes at times it's that good).

Mike was gracious enough to hook me up with a copy. It is one of the better surf records I've gotten in a long time.

Yeah, Tremolo Beer Gut is an awsome band! I was lucky enough to get one of their CDs on ebay a few years ago. They definitely have a great sound and killer songs. Their version of the Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" is really amazing. I wish I could find their other CDs, because they are certainly an overlooked surf band.

Indeed, the Pet Sounds cover is fine! I've been trying to find their albums other than "the Inebriated Sounds of..." but have had little success thus far.

I have all of their cds, which isn't many, and have listened to them at least once a week for the last couple years. I only wish they'd start recording again.

I have a copy of "The Inebriated Sounds of...", and totally dig it.
This is a phenominal band! I would buy everything of theirs I
could get my hands on. In general I'm a wild man about the Euro
instro-surf bands like Tremolo Beer Gut, the Anacondas, Bambi
Molesters, Kilaueas, Bitch Boys, Treble Spankers, Tubestone,
Surfites, Bradipos IV, Wettones, Cosmanauti, and too many others
I'm undoubtedly forgetting. There are some very happening bands
over there.

LOVE that band, played the crap out of them
Love their cover of Sonic Youth's Death Valley 69. Really changed it up but kept the idea intact
