For a guy into all things rock and metal (at whatever level), I prefer Surf to be as clean as possible. Occasionally I might push the clean sound a bit, but not much. I'm not against harder driven Surf sounds at all, but some recordings I've heard sound shrill to me. Side Note: I love Link Wray and his cranked tone also. Last edited: Feb 12, 2019 20:43:08 |
