New Ghastly Ones is almost here! The brand new CD, UNEARTHED, will be available online, August 6th, at www.ghastlyones.com.
This release features new versions of classic ghastly tunes such as "Ghastly Stomp" & "Haulin' Hearse" (now out of print), but now available on this disc for the first time featuring keyboards by Dave âCaptain Cleggâ. UNEARTHED is a must for your spooky shindig or Halloween party! Dig it!

I believe they are just up against the clock on this one. They were only recording last month.

According to their website, it's 13 new versions of old songs. My guess is they'll all be from A Haunting We Will Go-Go, since it's never going to be reissued.

I asked Norman. Here is his response:
The tracks are The Ghastly Stomp, Robot Atomico, Haulin Hearse, Hangman Hangten, Los Campiones Del Justicio, Mysterion, Surfinâ Spooks and Spooky (Diabolo's Theme) from our first CD âA-Haunting we will Go Goâ. Banshee Beach and Werewolves on Wheels are from the âHalloween Hootenannyâ comp, Yuzo's Twist is from our 10 song EP and Everybody Up is a tune from our early set available here for the first time.
Advanced copies will be available at the August 4th show, before it's available online. It features a hidden track as well!

My favorite is "Los Campeones," so I can't wait to hear what they've come up with.

Does anyone know why they don't release vinyls anymore? Like they did with their first one?
Norman said that "Target:Draculon" will be released but never did
What about this one?!

Vinyl is not really a huge seller here in USA

We were able to (thankfully) demand that we have vinyl for all of our releases in the 90s. But when it came to the 2005 comp, besides it having to be a double album, it was just no longer a risk that any label will take unless the band pays for it themselves. With the Ghastlys putting out their own stuff now, I'm sure they found the sad truth to be that it is a losing proposition to make very few of us happy.

I do not believe so. The CD is available at http://www.ghastlyones.com on August 6. The CD will be available at the show in L.A. on August 4.
