I haven't posted here before but I've been lurking for a while, really dig the community you've all got going on here. Just wanted to stop in and say hi, and post a video of my band's most recent gig in case you want to hear Fort Wayne's newest (only?) surf band, Strange Waters!
We're holding our album release luau party here in town (at The Ruin bar) on February 9 - if anyone will be in Fort Wayne that day, come on out!
So yeah, basically a shameless self-promotion post, but also wanted to let everyone know that this is probably the only forum on the internet that doesn't make me cringe a bit....congrats!

Very cool, I see you're playing at The Ruin! Very cool place, we had our first gig there actually. Good stage (not huge but whatever), good sound, and great staff. Relatively easy to load in, too.

Are you guys in on that show in May also? I'm a bit removed from the scheduling/booking side of the Tentakills, but I thought that date was trying to pair up with you too. Disregard if not, I don't want to speak out of turn on it or anything... nor did I mean to hijack your thread!

Really well I thought, thanks for asking! I felt like I was clamming it up left and right, but after reviewing the video, I think it went pretty well.
I haven't chopped up the video yet so I only have the full rough cut, but check it out if you like!
