Hey all, here's a demo snippet of a brand new Surf tune I starting writing about a week ago that I thought many heard would appreciate.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5ddeLX7GGY
The melody just came to me as I was walking my dogs on the beach. This one's in homage to outrigger canoe surfing, which people in the Surf world and genre seem to forget about....it's a wild ride! I know from experience! Name comes from an experience a family member had almost getting run over by an outrigger while learning to Surf at Canoes in Waikiki back in the 60's.
Enjoy! Check out my other Surf and other musical styles at: https://potbellymackraken.bandcamp.com/

That's good stuff! You have an ear for authenticity, for damn sure. I really like your tune Day Dream, too. It takes me back. To a time I was not alive in but still. Right on back.
Also, There's A Hurricane a Comin' is far out. I hope all these songs get finished at some point! You're a real individualist. Keep it up.

Sounds good = I like the octave shift part - Sounds like its in E Minor
I like the F# slide up on the B String. Nice tune. Errrrrr iiit
I only had my acoustic guitar here at the computer - Is the In E minor or something else? Sounds like E minor - I thought it was C# without the guitar in my hand just listening
Its good a classic early 60's vibe to it, I like it.

Thanks Redfeather and Surfer Joe for the kind words and encouragement! I'm glad you two liked it and my other work. I want to finish up all those 3 songs you mention Redfeather and get them up for purchase/download as soon as work and school will allow me....new semester just started up so it'll be a next couple of busy weeks as I settle in to routine.
And Surfer Joe, it is in E-minor: Em - D - Em - Bm - Em - D - Em - D - Em / Am - D - G - Em - Am - D - G - G7 ect.

That painting is super cool! Except that Waikiki never has bigger waves like that haha!
