Permalink What are your favorite T.V. series ?

New Topic
Goto Page: 1 2 3 4 Next

I don't know if this has been made before, if it has I'm really sorry.

My favorite T.V. series are:

The Sopranos
The Office
My Name Is Earl
The Addams
The Munsters
Mythbusters
Penn & Teller's B/S
Monk
Monster Garage
Overhaulin'

I was in fact really upset when I heard that the second part of the sixth season of The Sopranos was going to be the last Crying

Come on I know there are a lot of avid T.V. viewers out there !

British Office
Scrubs
Arrested Development
Spaced
West Wing
Lost
Strangers With Candy
Freaks and Geeks(and Undeclared)
MASH
Colbert Report

Curb Your Enthusiam used to be one of my favorite but I don't find it very funny anymore.

I just order the entire series of "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis". Maynard G. Krebs rules. I love the old shows, but watch modern ones too.

I'm almost certain I'm forgetting a handful, but ...

Get Smart
Black Books
The Avengers (up until Diana Rigg left)
Cowboy Bebop
Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law
Arrested Development
The Venture Brothers
Mr. Show
The Lone Gunmen
Action
The Tick
Rocky & Bullwinkle
Most Extreme Elimination Challenge/Takeshi's Castle
Home Movies
The Office (UK)
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace
Futurama
The Simpsons
Kids in the Hall
South Park
The Joe Schmo Show
Sledge Hammer
and in a trainwreck sort of way, The OC (season 1 & maybe half of season 2)

I basically stopped watching TV when Arrested Development got cancelled.

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

Some shows I like:

Avengers
The Prisoner
Star Trek
Flintstones
Jetsons
The Saint
Gidget
Munsters

Did you get it on any kind of official release? I've been looking for that series for a while but don't want it on DVD-R.

Klas, it has never been officially released. So, the copies may not be completely legal and that is not the best situation. I emailed with Dwayne Hickman himself, and it looks like there are legal problems and any official release is a long ways away from happening. He told me to let him know the quality of the set, and it is not consistent. Some episodes are perfect while others are suffering in sound and visual. If they ever release it officially, I will be sure and buy it so the money gets to the right hands.

Thanks for the info. I personally don't have a problem with non-legal releases as long as there isn't an official release available or scheduled for the near future. Unfortunately my experiences with the former are that they most often are crap quality wise.

If anyone hasn't discovered www.alluc.org yet - check it out: you can watch nearly all this stuff there. I never watch TV on the actual TV anymore!
