Permalink 70s musicmaster amp in retro tiki style custom cab

New Topic

Cool amp. This is the older version using the 6aq5 tubes. Works as it should. The original cab had termites.so I had this one made by a local builder. Oxblood tolex, wicker grill cloth, all solid construction. Legs do come off, the speaker is a wgs reaper.
$200 + shipping from Tampa, FL.

SICK!

Does this cab narrow at the bottom, or is it just the front panel shape that makes it look so?

The whole cab narrows towards the bottom.

My first amp was a Musicmaster, which I actually played bass through. It seems there are lots of fans of that amp these days, so this one would be a cool deal for someone who isn't worried about everything being pristine vintage spec.

You buy it Tai?

I'm on the fence... can't decide.
If you're into it, go ahead.

I'd be a buyer at $200 shipped for just the amp & speaker... I can't see myself not rehousing it.
