Good luck selling your string here; this is a very picky group of players. I tried selling a pick here about 8 or 9 years ago (it was a really awesome SURF PICK!), and while there were a lot of tire-kickers, nobody bought it. I eventually lost it in the wash and had to end the listing...

Beware of scams! The last time I bought a .008 string was from a Nigerian prince who mugged me in an alley. Always make your string purchases in an open public place, like the ball pit in the local McDonalds.

I've also heard from my second cousin's friend's wife that these people selling single strings are usually planning to kidnap you and sell your organs after stealing your identity and posting embarassing pictures of you online.

Another question on provenance if you please:

Didn't see anyone asking for a date of manufacture for this string - and it's a critical question, being that Ernie sadly passed away 14 years ago, and although I don't mean to make light of that, the company is now run by his son, CEO Sterling Ball. Thus, if made prior to 2005, this would be a pre-CSB string.

I bought a string once from a guy on Craigslist..we met in a well lit location near the police station to make the exchange. The deal went down smooth with no hanky panky.

That string lasted a good while with no regrets.
