That's why it's called fest, not festival! Plus it is cheaper, only need 50% of the letters!

It's time for a new surf music festival in the Netherlands! On November 16, DB's in Utrecht is the place to be for all surf music fans!

It offers a superb line up with Surfer Joe (the international surf ambassador from Italy), Los Tiki Boys (with Treble Spankers guitar player Marcel Kruub), Krontjong Devils (the oldest surfband of the Netherlands), Aloha Sluts (surfabilly) and Twang Inspectors (masters of the twang guitar).
If you show up in your wetsuit you have free admission and free drinks!

Start: 20:00 hrs
Admission: 12 euros
Line up:
- Surfer Joe (I)
- Los Tiki Boys
- Krontjong Devils
- Aloha Sluts
- Twang Inspectors

The ticket sales site is limited in time. If you don't complete your order within 15 minutes you're rejected. I'd be happy to help out if you put me into contact with the person.

That was a great surf fest! Attendance about 60 people. Twang Inspectors and Los Tiki Boys were new to me. Of all bands I enjoyed Los Tiki Boys the most, not really surf but more instrumental psychedelia and fuzz. And the full and clear sound of the Aloha Sluts is incredible, all three band members have a fierce stage appearance (and wireless Arny also offstage in the audience). Unfortunately I had to leave during the last act (Surfer Joe) to catch the last train home.
