Hey everybody, just saying hello.
My name is Tai. I play guitar in the Tentakills, a surf rock band from South Bend, IN.
I've been lurking around for a while. My new band The Tentakills is finally taking off, so it seems a good time to register and become active on this forum.
Thanks for the tips so far... the Surfy Bear thread is awesome!
Here's a Jaguar that I built using an MJT body and parts from a 1996 MIJ Jag. MJT color matched the headstock for me while they still had the body in their posession.

The Tentakills are made up of myself and my buddy Bill Finn on drums. We've been playing together for about 5 years now, in the bands Devilsai and Virgin Mobile Meth Lab. Our friend Mike Stowe of rockabilly band Red Hot VooDoo is on lead guitar, and our newly found bass player Mike Howard was in Yes!Yes!Take Off Your Dress! a couple of years ago.
We are working on original tunes plus our favorite classics, some of which get reworked a bit to suit our tastes.

Thanks man. We almost went with the Nautikills, but it was taken by a roller derby team in the Midwest.
