My interview on Surfabilly Freakout from 10 days ago now has a permanent home on Soundcloud:

https://soundcloud.com/ivan-pongracic-1/surfabilly-freakout-ivan-pongracic-interview-10-4-18

We mostly talked about the Madeira's "Center of the Surf" live album as well as the new "Reverb Nation" live comp, also recorded at the 2017 Surf Guitar 101 Convention - and we had more than a bit of fun, too! Check it out.

(Big thanks to Jet Sterling for inviting me on the program as well as making this file available for permanent storage!)

The Showman story! There wasn't a cauldron this year when we played the Hot Rod Hula Hop. I couldn't imagine my bandmaster covered with red dye!

It all happened so fast...and at the same time, in slow motion. Ivan covered about 30 yards in 2 seconds to get to the gear. Luckily, no long-term damage done...but we were holding our breaths. I thought someone was gonna get stuffed in the cauldron!

Hey Ivan - a big thanks for coming on the show. Good times - I think we easily could have filled another hour!

Big Grin I'd NEVER do anything like that! (I think....)
