Holy cripes.... THE DICKIES???!! I saw them at some hole in LA back in the early 80's. An odd fit for Surf, definitely unique even for a punk band.

Would be pretty cool to hear some of their classics again - "Where Did His Eye Go?" (apparently a tribute to the late Sammy Davis Jr.) and "I'm stuck in a Pagoda, with Tricia Toyoda"...

Yeah I've seen the Dickies multiple times - always entertaining! I saw the Adicts back in the early 80's at Perkins Palace with the Toy Dolls and the Meteors. Now THAT was a show.
Messer Chups are a strange fit, but it reminds me of the very early punk days. You never new what you were going to hear!

Holy crap you guys are the coolest! I’da LOVED to see the Dickies in the early 80s, dang. I’ve got a splitting headachi, Manny Moe and Jack, Fan Mail!

I think Messer Chups is awesome for playing with different kinds of banda. I predict they get a bunch of new fans after this tour.

Saw the show with the other Delstroyer dudes last Sunday in Seattle and it was awesome!! Elcorazon was packed! They sounded massive and the set was just perfect. Great to see Rockin Eugene too.

So glad they added this show in a real surf-type venue. I was about to buy tickets for the DTLA Novo show and was totally put off by the way they are being re-sold with a 50% markup. I don’t care a hang about washed-up UK punkers Adikts and LA’s Dickies who were pretty old when I saw them 25 years ago. I don’t mean to put those bands down but I just don’t see spending so much for a Downtown gig where the Chups aren’t headlining and will likely be forced to play a short set.
Also, a more intimate venue will make for more excitement. They were fantastic when they played with the Boss Martians there last year.
