Permalink Satan's Pilgrims - Taco Truck / Neahkahnie 7" Out On Double Crown / Hidden Volume Records

New Topic

We're extremely excited to be releasing a brand new, 2 song 7" by Satan's Pilgrims - TODAY! By partnering with Hidden Volume Records, we've been able to give this the full, deluxe treatment, with versions pressed on green and black vinyl, a nice, full-color pocket sleeve, and as a bonus you'll receive a promotional postcard with purchase.

The platter contains two brand-new recordings - "Taco Truck" and “Neahkahnie”. It's a limited edition release, and the discs, especially the green ones, will go quick!

On the A-Side, “Taco Truck” transports the listener to a magical place where delicious melodies reverberate from Venice Beach to Cape Cod. Some fear one day there will be a taco truck on every corner, Satan’s Pilgrims welcome that day! The B-Side is a caravan of pleasure with the deliberate and mellow song, “Neahkahnie”—bringing to mind the mysterious siren call of the mountain from which it was named. One part Jorgen Ingmann, one part triple-sec, one part fun!

Recorded and mixed by Satan’s Pilgrims at the Mt. Hood Masonic Lodge, Portland, Ore., mastered by Gus Elg at Sky Onion.

Order your copy today at www.doublecrownrecords.com or www.hiddenvolume.com

Good stuff, boys! I've been enjoying my downloads today. Still loving the sound of that lodge. Hopefully you have a bunch more goodies from that session tucked away, waiting to be released...

Thank you Redfeather! I think this is it until we go back in. Hopefully it remains empty and available for next time.

Actually, downloads for this won't be available for a week or so. You must mean the Splashdown/Dr.Mortis single that came out last month? I know its confusing with these 2 45s coming out so close to each other.

Nope, I got Taco Truck and Neahkahnie downloaded from the Hidden Volume link in your the first post! Maybe someone jumped the gun in making them available? But now I need to go find those other two that I missed last month..

Incidentally, I have my own song about Neahkahnie in the works so your release presents a dilemma to me... I did spell mine Neah-Kah-Nie, though, so I guess it's all good.

The Pilgrims' experience with the mountain is probably quite different than mine, too. I don't suppose you guys ever hiked down to the point off 101 at night in a rainstorm with a single flashlight between you to camp on that tiny flat area next to the sheer dropoff?
