Permalink Unforgettable TV and Film Theme Tunes

Hey, this is a great thread. Here's my contribution - I remember this theme on TV when I was just a little boy . . . . complete with Luther Perkins playin' it strange on his Jag - and do I detect the slightest amount of drip on his sound.

I have to add this one too. It's from the movie Beat Girl - not a TV theme (but could be) - The John Barry Seven Orchestra (with Vic Flick on guitar).

I remember 77 Sunset Strip and the name Kookie from a very early age. I noticed another from about the same period called "Surfside 6" I didn't know about until today.

Great thread.
This has aways been one of my favorites:

Deal with reality, or reality will deal with you.

Harold Geller: Main Title music from "Jungle Street".
1961 blissful Euro twang.

Department S

Quintessentially British. Groovy as hell.
Finnish surf band The Doltones have a marvellous cover version on their album, Dance or Die.

Agent Orange's terrific arrangement of "Get Smart." Smartly Done!

Hawaiian Eye. Something of an annoying earworm that haunts me to this day.

... and what!? No "Dr Who" yet?
Instead of the usual, I'm going to post Nigel Kennedy's version.

I'm not a complete idiot. Some parts are missing.

Nobody? Really nobody? BATMAN!!!!!

OK.. shameless selfpromotion warning! Oh by the way, we call it Fledermausmann!
