TomorrowMen yesterday
The TomorrowMen were awesome yesterday. I don't think I can describe in musical terms what they do right, but I've seen lots of bands and I know what I like. They have it. Loud. Fast. Ton of energy. Waves of reverb. Solid rhythm section and flaming lead guitar. They are clearly having mucho fun being on stage and playing in a little dive.
Guys in wheel chairs were rocking out. Feet were tapping. I wasn't the only one dancing! Women who had come to see other bands were shaking it.
I got some decent photos and good video.

An interesting and totally cool factoid:
The TM base player built the stage at GILMAN STREET (legendary Berkeley punk venue) when he was in high school as part of his community service requirement.

It's the Man or Astroman? version of the Venture's song. I'm not familiar with the Killer bananazz version.
Thanks to Miles for posting all that stuff.

Try pausing it at the beginning and then letting it stream well ahead, before starting to play. Better yet, subscribe to it through iTunes and then you will be able to get the better quality downloaded.

Thanks Miles, that worked a lot better. I was having a regular 'clam-bake' there but the energy was good, if not a bit too fast.

Well put Miles. For those of you in the area that missed this show, well you really missed something!

Man I wish I was there. How many shows do I have to miss before I FINALLY get to see these guys live?
Ooh, and I'm also gonna jump on the bandwagon and peer pressure Brian into coming out to the bay area. You know you want to Brian... Everybody's doing it. It's totally cool.
