young members in surf bands

darrenk Joined: Dec 19, 2010 Posts: 191 San Jose, CA	Posted on May 05 2018 04:12 PM Saw the the Young Barons last night in San Jose and was impressed with the enthusiasm of them. I began to think of other surf bands with young members (teens or in their 20s) and this is what I came up with: The Deadbeats The Tequila Worms Shoot the Pier I'm sure there are a lot more bands out there. What are some other bands with young members? -Darren Top

I was listening again recently to a radio interview we did for Cousin Mary in about 2012, right after we released Low Hangs the Moon. Ellie was in high school at the time, and said in the interview she wanted to be a writer. Six years later, she learned this week she was accepted into the University of Edinburgh Writers Graduate school, and will be off to Scotland in September. She is very excited. Although I lose a music partner for awhile, I couldn't be happier.
