Permalink Wanted: 1985-86 Fender '62 Reissue Stratocaster in Surf Green

Very interested in finding an early Corona '62 American Vintage Reissue Stratocaster in surf green. I recently had a chance to buy one but let it slip away. So... I'm looking for another in all original unmodified condition. The 5-way switch change is fine. Case candy is a big plus. Thanks

I also have a 2008 '62 reissue Jaguar "Thin Skin" in ocean turquoise listed on Reverb if anyone is interested.

Any leads? I check the usual guitar sites classifieds regularly. Know anyone with one that might be willing to sell?

It's an '87, but....

Thanks John. I watch reverb and just missed an '86 about a month ago. btw, the 2008 Jaguar I mentioned at the start just sold on reverb yesterday.

Finders fee on purchase of an unlisted example.

here you go guy, close enough if you ask me.

You're looking for a needle in a hay stack. It took me 2 years to find a LPB 62 AVRI back when they were new (1986-1989). They were very rare to start with, and most were of course the ugliest of all colors - sunburst. I just sold a black 1986, honestly it was not a very good guitar. Not sure why you would want one unless it's sentimental? They seem to get much better after 1989 and especially great 1992-1994.

I'm the current owner of this guitar, I'd entertain an offer if you're interested:
