We really enjoy it when young kids are at our gigs, dancing and getting a charge out of music that they don't know or care is retro...they just like it. This young lady was having a great time, and very specifically wanted to come up and have a photo with the band when we played yesterday at the annual Lowry Beer Garden Brews and BBQ fest in Denver.

That's really cool! It is strange to think about kids and folks who just haven't been exposed to the genre, and have no idea how much they like it. Snazzy kick drum head logo too!

A couple of weeks ago we played at place we've played 2 or 3 times before Lynagh's Irish Pub in Lexington, Ky.
There was a nice variety of people who came to eat and listen to some music. One of the tables was taken by a family with husband and wife and 3 young kids. The father shouted out to us to play one of our spaghetti western like tunes Adios Tuco because his son wanted to hear it. I was kind of surprised about that request when when I found out his son was 8. I asked how he knew our songs and the father said we have your CD Enigma of The Deep and his son knows all the songs.
This was an eye-opener for us
We played the song and I fumbled through the beginning. When the song was over the father shouted out "He said you didn't play it right" which was true.
The moral of the story is to always play your best..You never know who's paying attention even if you think no one is.
We should have taken a photo like yours fender fan

Children have always been the most enthusiastic responders to our music, live or recorded.
To the point where we have considered releasing a record intended for children.

All the real money in media is intended for children, so I say do it! You never know, sell surf to kids today and 20 years from now: rebirth!

That's the part that's cool to me. Turning youngsters on to this music and even the electric guitar.
Cheers,
