The photo of the day (today) reminded me that Karol Katcher photographed Ed here, with his pal SoniChris weekend before last, checking out Chris's marvelous all original Buick Electra 225. The pix was shot in Arvada, CO at the hotel where the Mrs. and I were staying prior to our return to Atlanta.
And just why are we grinning from ear to ear? Well, we were about make our "escape" over to fellow Aquasonics member, Maui's place to play guitars, make noise, talk shop, and check out some of the super fine custom guitars that Chris has built and that Maui has collected. And, of course, prior to snapping the shot, we'd been in Old Town Arvada drinking beer...... Good beer.
By the way, I am really enjoying my new Aquasonics CD!

Wow, that was a fun time! I’m always stoked to see Eddie, and get the chance to hang out and jam with him. I wish we got the chance to do it more often! Maybe I should make the journey to Surf Fest this year.
It’s a good think Mrs. Katcher was there, otherwise there would be no photographic proof that it happened. We’ve done this meetup 9 or 10 times in 15 years, and I think there are about 3 pics, 2 of which she took.
