Modern surf music is full of theme tune music. What is your favourite and more importantly do you remember a rare or overlooked film/series with an unforgettable melody. Perhaps a short lived TV series or non English film or TV tune that is not widely known.
Here's a couple from British TV I remembered.
Tales of the Unexpected - Strangely Jolly and Sinister at the same time.
Crossroads (soap series) It sounds almost American western.

Peter Gunn and The Inspector; Mancini. That guy was the king of out riffs that worked.
The Inspector riff is hilariously chromatic.
As for UK stuff, I always liked The Thunderbirds theme.

The king of cheese Jerry Allen and his Trio theme tune for Lunchbox, an early afternoon weekly programme from the early 1960s British TV. It's called The Hedge Hopper.

Apart from the Lalo Schifrin stuff my favorite tv soundtrack has always been Peter Thomas' music for the German sci-fi series "Raumpatrouille. Die phantastischen Abenteuer des Raumschiffes Orion" (Space Patrol. The fantastic adventures of the space ship Orion).

"Postcards from the Scrapyard" Vol. 1, 2 & 3 NOW available on various platforms!
