Hi. I've been intro surf for about a year now and am trying hard to catch up. I play in an eclectic rock band, and the drummer decided we should do Wipe Out Looking for different versions to listen to led me to the Surfaris and then the Ventures. I heard the Duo-tones play Pipeline and then found The Torquays followed by the Atomic Mosquitos and the Penetrators and...well, you get the idea...and now surf is a regular part of the band's setlist, both covers and some origininals I've written. I wish I'd found this stuff a decade or two ago!

Is there any radio station out there that does a surf show and does live streaming over the net?

Welcome Grillo, glad to have you here. You'll learn all you never wanted to know about surf music, and then some. If you'd like to, feel free to post an original or 2 to our downloads section.

Ciao!
