I'll be making it out to my first SG101 Convention! As a newbie from the east coast, it looks like I want to find a hotel in Torrance for the Friday night fun in El Segundo and all-day Saturday fun at the Alpine Village. Is there a particular hotel where fellow out of town SG101'ers typically stay? If not, any recommendations for hotels in the area? I'll have a rental car to get around and drive down to Huntington Beach on Sunday. I'll probably fly out Sunday evening to head back home. Any pre-registration and fees required to attend the convention or are there cover/entry fees for each day/evening events? Having looked at a map of the area, I’ll clarify - it makes sense for me to stay in Torrance to head up to El Segundo on Friday as they are fairly close, then for Saturday, I’m already in Torrance to be close to the Alpine Village. I’ll make the drive down to Huntington Beach on Sunday then head to the airport that evening. I think we are planning the same stay in Torrance for the first two events.
