It's been five years since I posted the following here on surfguitar101:

I think I'll go buy a bottle of single malt Scotch......and I don't even drink Scotch.

Sitting here, guitar in hand, just knocked out one of Rip's faves, Mr Moto. Now let me pick on some of the Penetrators a bit more.

Miss you two guys a LOT. (Rip and Spanky)

Five more years have passed making today the 15th anniversary of the passing of Rip, aka Scott Rogers.

I will never forget.

Thank you for showing the way.

Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps?

Thank you Eddie. Those guys are legends. I will listen to Locked and Loaded today and drink a toast tonight.

Funny; wife picked up the case for Locked & Loaded yesterday while a passenger in my car & just read & looked at the whole thing. Her comment was that whoever's concept that was, was immensely talented. 'Nuff said.

They give me inspiration every day. Alas... Another Time, Another Place.
Rest in Peace on the final DZ.
Cheers

Hi Eddie, Thank you for remembering Rip. I hope you enjoy this little video. It touched me and I'm glad I was there to capture it.
