Latest acquisition and fulfilled dream: 1963 Fender Jaguar (refinished in Olympic White) - the neck is an outstanding mid '60s C-shape, which is super comfortable for my big ol' hands. I just put in some new Jensen speakers (temporary until I can get the original '62 Jensen speakers re-coned) in the '62 Fender Bassman. I gave the Bassman a test drive with the '63 Jag - absolutely wonderful tones.
The far superior images are from the seller's listing on Reverb and the mediocre images are from me - sorry, it's gloomy outside so I took the photos with my overhead lighting in my man cave (also, I put on a Mustang bridge). Last couple of photos are of it nestled in-between my '63 Fender Jazzmaster and Fender Johnny Marr Signature Jaguar:

Thanks! One thing I’ve picked up on in my obsessi- er, hunt for vintage gear on Reverb is that vintage guitars that have been refinished are significantly reduced in price, making it possible to purchase. It also helps that I frequently move other gear to obtain more pricey gear. I only have 4 vintage Fender guitars (refin’d ‘63 JM, this refin’d ‘63 Jag, an original finish ‘65 Mustang, and my other recent get - a ‘66 Mosrite Ventures bass (a near future NBD post). My other guitars range from budget to far less costly than custom shop gear.

VERY nice! I like the fact that you got one of the last pre-L-plates! That's damned cool! I've heard some L-plates actually have shown up on '62 Fenders, but I've never seen one. Nice find for sure! There's nothing like vintage Fender guitars!!!!

Necks are similar, which I'm thrilled about.
I have Fender Pure Vintage '65 pickups in the Marr Jag. The stock Bareknuckle pickups aren't bad but I prefer the PV '65 pickups for surf. I'll make use of the Bareknuckle pickups in a future project. I find the '63 stock pickups, to my ears, to be mellower and richer than the PV '65 pickups, which seem brighter. The brighter tone works fine because the Marr Jaguar is my #1 go to modern guitar.
However, I'm really enjoying my '63 Jag and '63 Jazzmaster so everything else may not get as much play time for now.

Ha! You know it! Nice guitar hanger system! The only problem with my hanger system is I can only put up so many guitars!

IMHO, its the best way to go. I did have to move my guitar cases out from under the guitars because certain critters whom serve as my avatar saw fit to use my guitars as a jungle gym.
