Is there a collection of information on Spy music, bands etc.....

Having 60s TV flashbacks and am watching the THe man from uncle series and Get smart....lol Put me in the mood for some spy instro.

Josh just busted out my number 1 and 2 choices for this, though they're scattered throughout many bands' repertoires. I particularly like tunes of this stripe, so everyone feel free to populate this thread with individual suggestions.

I remember hearing a bunch of pretty spy-flavored stuff on The Langhorns albums too.

One of the great things about surfguitar101.com is utilizing it as a database of information that one can access at any time just by typing in a simple search key word. Type in "spy" and check "forum topics" only and you'll find lots of useful information.

Thanks for all the info great start. Maybe this thread can be the start of creating the long neglected wiki list.

I did try the search function but it was inconclusive for a coherent direction. I Had figured that withnp spy and spaghetti western music cross populating withnsurf there may have been a suggested list etc....

I had forgotten all about the Wiki...might not be a bad idea to start an official SG101 list. I'd certainly reference it. We could break it down into a) bands that do predominantly spy-tinged instros and b) spy-tinged instros from other surf/instro bands. The lines get kind of blurry, of course, but it'd be cool to have as a source.
