I'm very excited to announce that "Ewa on the Beach" is being released as a vinyl single, the way it was meant to be. The HiTide Recordings pressing is underway, and you can pre-order now, with a March 30 release date. All orders come with an (immediate) digital download of the remastered tracks. On the B-side is a new song "Tan Line Fever".

Hi! I ordered one right away! I can't think of the last time I bought a record. I don't even have a turntable. I bought it for the art and have loved this song for quite awhile. I don't see any link for the instant download though.

The B-side, "Tan Line Fever", is probably the most trad-surf style song we've written. Heavy reverb, Astronauts style push beat. Hope y'all dig it.

HIGHLY recommended!! As I strongly suspect most regular SG101ers know, "Ewa on the Beach" is one of the very best surf tunes of the past 20 years (seriously! It's amazing!), and the new track on the b-side, "Tan Line Fever", is simply fantastic - I listened to it SIX times in a row when I first heard it! Add in the great artwork AND the cool vinyl, and you've got a must-have single! Ferenc and the band totally knocked it out of the park with this one - and how great that Vincent and Hi-Tide Recordings are releasing it! Can't wait to play with Frankie & the Pool Boys again this summer, in Livorno, Italy and Asbury Park, New Jersey - OR hear the new album! Congrats on all the exciting stuff coming up, Ferenc!
