This is probably premature, but I like planning ahead. I am attending this year's SG101, all three days of course. I was wondering if there are any drummers or rhythm guitar players interested in performing three Madeira songs for the member's jam on Sunday at Surf Dog's?
Mr. Don Schott has expressed interest in playing bass. "Journey To The Center Of The Surf" would be one of the three tunes, with the other two open for discussion. I'd be very honored to play with musicians that love TM as much as I do. Yea, it's 6 months away but I am testing the waters, so to speak

More likely people are just thinking, "I don't wanna play that crap! Let's play some GOOD music, like DD and the Astronauts!"

Any drummers or rhythm guitar players want to join me for a 3 song Madeira Tribute? I will have a nice, big place to practice in San Pedro that weekend, if that helps.

The Madeira Tribute Band is now full steam ahead with four SG101 members crazy enough to take it on. (Anyone care to name our band)?
(I'll keep the musicians' identities secret for now, unless one of them wants to go public).
