Wes is really great. I have some CDs of a lot of his material (the later stuff has vocals). He and his band drove down from Edmonton, AB to Clovis New Mexico to record some of their first sides with Norman Petty at his famous studio. In those days it was easier to travel North- South than East-West for recording and gigs. Glad you like his music.

Wow! You know John Pilgrim is originally from Clovis and we too have recorded at NP studios. It all makes sense now. Thanks for the link. I've been listening on spotty, but I may have to pick those up!
