Permalink Jungle Gig Conversion Kit For Surf Drums

I have been using a jazz/bop kit for playing Turbosonics shows lately-I have previously mentioned my Ludwig Questlove and Pearl Roadshow kits. I liked them so much I was going to get yet another one-a Pearl Midtown. But then I saw the Pearl Jungle Gig Conversion kit for a 16" bass. I can use my current inventory of Pearl Export Select kits (I have three) and the kit can be interchanged among them all. So now the 16 x 16 bass is accompanied by a 10 x 7 tom and a 13 x 9 tom. I use the bronze Roadshow snare 'cause it's really snappy. As far as the batter bass head, it's a Remo Emperor clear with a Falam patch. Sounds killer......So here is the version in Amber Mist.

Cool color, nice compact kit.

Have you seen these?

All opinions expressed by this poster are well thought out and based on actual experience and/or scientific experimentation, except for those which are knee-jerk reactions or good sounding fantasies.

Thanks-might give 'em a try.....

I use the Dunnett gull wing spurs and tom mount to convert my 18” floor tom to a small kick. 12” mounted tom and a 16” floor tom. I use a Dixon riser to mount thhe kick pedal. The setup works great:
