Periferia's CDs "Applause" and "Deal With It" as well as comps. they are on "Twangy Guitars Silky Strings Vol. 4" (four songs), "Rautalanka Paraati Vol. 1" (one song) and "Vol. 2" (two songs) are all available at Goofin' Records www.goofinrecords.com

Gotta love a girl band with an album called "Deal With It" - Thumbs Up

Today I got the Mustangs' DVD "Live at the Sunhouse" (the package also includes the "Live In Amsterdam" CD). Checking it out right now - and it's a true pleasure! It plays just fine on a US TV system. The picture is so-so, mostly a single camera focused on the lead guitarist Matti Luhtala (not at ALL a bad thing!), but the sound quality is phenomenal! And the band is on fire, sounding truly excellent. Highly recommended! I got the DVD about 10-14 days after ordering, too, a quick turnaround time.

Hi!

That gig was originally (audio)recorded only for Live CD "In Amsterdam" to Rarity Records. CD was released from that gig soon after that with necessary agreements. Later the boss of that company heard that 2 guys had filmed the gig for their own use only, so no pro-filming. He contacted those guys, bought the tapes and made the DVD. Ofcourse, this was done without bands permission, without anykind of agreement.
That´s why video/pic is so bad, even audio is quite ok, because there were no plans to do that DVD at first place and video was filmed by amateurs and stage lightning was not so good. So this DVD was born kinda "accidentally". Thus, there are not so many better videorecordings either. Rarity released then douple CD-DVD combination release later on.

Then at the time Rarity quitted and sold whole it´s busines to SamSam, including this product.

Thanks IvanP for the tip on the Mustangs' DVD. That plus a bunch of other items are on the way from SamSam Music.

If you bought a CD "Live At The Sunhouse", with same cover as DVD (Live At The Sunhouse), it is a partly fake live. Compare to DVD tracklist..
[DVD]
(http://www.samsammusic.com/DVD-CD-The-Mustangs) Some of those tunes are most likely from ´"Turning The Tide" studioalbum (2003 Turning The Tide. Also "Widows´ Daughters" tune has a differend line-up than in others,

Mustangs In Amsterdam CD is a genuine half studio, half live In Amsterdam
And DVD too.

How do i know?

The guy who was playing there at the time told me this.

But by all means, I hope you enjoy anyways! Just that you know. Big Grin

Greetz from behind my back, glad if You like it! Smile
That TTT is quite hard to find these days.
Only 500 copies printed at the time.
Bass player plays the lead on track 16, and rh guitarist on 17.

Edit: Pomp & Circumstances sounds more like bootleg than tkaen from official CD release. Would be nice to know where that is taken from. Brazil nost likely is taken from CD "going Doing"

The Mustangs In Amsterdam CD is one of my all time favorites, especially the half live. Because I was at that concert organized by Rarity Records, right in front of the stage. The clapping on the recording that is the loudest, is me. The live sound was so incredible clear and balanced, exactly the same as on the half live section of that album. Here's a scan of the flyer:
