Permalink Quilter Preamp For Bandmaster @ Gig

New Topic

I decided to play through my Bandmaster and 1 x 15 for our latest gig. I took the Dual Reverb Quilty Bear for my reverb and plugged the Quilter into another 1 x 15. I also took the effects send from the Quilter PB 200 and preamped my Bandmaster. What I ended up with was pure heaven. We had excellent monitoring on stage and I mic'd both cabs. Long story short I ran my Quilter at 2 watts and the Bandmaster was on 2 and had unbelievable tone The amps were more than loud for me and every nuance of drip I could ever ask for bled from the the surfy bear in that configuration. The Surfy Trem throbbed forth and it was absolutely the best sound I've ever produced. I'm probably the first guy to ever do this so if you own a Quilter, try this into your tube amp sometime. It's breathtaking!
