I couldn't tell you the history of the pickups but I do know when Doc bought the guitar the trem malfunctioned. Doc was heartbroken because he waited a long time to find one and finally get it. That is right in my wheelhouse. I have a couple pedals with blinding leds like that. I put a little piece of masking tape over it to dull it to a tolerable level. Today’s hack tip. |
