Hey I just got notified someone left a very nice review on our very first MP3 compilation. You can read it here: https://archive.org/details/SG101-2005_Mp3_Comp
So that suddenly reminded me we completely spaced off this year's compilation. My personal life is a bit in turmoil this year so I forgot about it.
So, skip it this year? Or do a highly compressed one?

Maybe we could merge threads here, and everybody could do a version of “Flight of the Surf Guitar “???
I’m sure I could find something in the vaults to contribute. I always look forward to this compilation.

How long to get contributions ready?
Do you have the time to do the processing?
I always love them, I'd hate not to see the tradition keep going, but you do all the computer work.

I vote, business as usual. I recently lit up the HD-24 and blew the dust out of the Mackie, even built a boat down in the boatwerx this year.
Let's do it.

I always enjoy the SG101 compilation and I hope it can continue again this year. It's only a suggestion but how about making it a little more self service whereby the uploaders also announce their work in secondary thread, usually Brian is very good at keeping that thread bubbling along on the front page offering compliments and encouragements, how about cutting him a bit of slack and helping him out this year.

Ok let's do a shorter one, and I don't see any issue with having it run into early 2018. I'll try to make an announcement about it soon.

I'll dig into our vaults as well. It is always nice to hear our members contributions.

This is one of my favorite things about the forum. It would be a shame if it was discontinued.
