Hi,
Do you know any web store selling surf vinyls?
Used ones! I'd like to find goodies like Astronauts, Dick Dale, Chantays, Shadows,....... especially Ventures!
Except ebay I can't find anything else.
Also it'll be better if it is in Europe....
ok not a problem if it's in the US, but sells overseas.

I've got tons of the classics - original vinyl. For sale. I'm in the U.S. Most of my sales are overseas. Shoot me a PM because I don't know if it's kosher to put my links here.

Alrighty then.
www.goldengaterecords.com
and another good one where there are a lot of sellers, U.S. and oversea's is
www.gemm.com We sell under "Barry Wickham Rare Records" on Gemm and have a lot of surf and instrumentals on there.
We also have private auction lists we can send by email or snail mail. These would include the rarer stuff. It's can be a good way to get records for a price you want to pay. We run approx. 6 of these a year. We have lists for:
Surf/Instrumentals
50's pre-Beatles
60's Garage/Rock
Soul/Funk
70's Rock/Punk
Girl Group/Female Vocal
Picture Sleeves
Hope this wasn't TMI.
(Thanks Brian)

thanks both of you for your help!
As I can see there are only US sellers but I understand it! Surf music is born there....
Outsides,
As you refer most of your sales are overseas.
Do you know if I'll pay a lot for taxes? I'm living in Europe. Do they charge for used items?
Wow, a lot of 45s over there.....

No sales tax per se, but custom duties. Amount depends on the value declared.

Found most of my surf vinyls on record fairs.
Dunno where you from in Europe, but the Utrecht (Holland) CD & Record Fair (twice a year) is awesome.
They claim to be the biggest in the world...
edit: I clicked your www link, that's going to be a long travel

Over here whatever I find is or too expensive or in a horrible condition
I got bored with local stores and now I'm ordering only by internet.
But the sad is that you can't see the used items as you can see them by close!
Anyway, maybe I'll visit Holland!
When are those record fairs? You never know.... I have never visit Holland!

I've had really good luck buying old surf vinyls on e-bay. Most all have been near mint, mint or sealed and I've framed many of them for my music room. They've come from both the US and Europe and most have been reasonable priced less than $10. A few were not in the condition the seller advertised, but they were cheap enough to take the chance. Just my 2 cents.

On eBay, the feedback ratings/comments given to a seller normally unveil if his gradings are accurate or not. I've bought quite a few original 60s surf LPs on eBay over the last years and on most occasions been satisfied with my purchases. However, don't expect to find anything of interest for under $10 though...

Yea ebay is a good place to find vinyls. That's my main source too.
But I hate when the seller has only one good item to buy.
Sometimes you need more for the shipping than the vinyl

I liked how there was still a lot of surf being issued on vinyl during the nineties. I miss that. Seems like surf held on to the vinyl format long after other genres went to CD only. Vinyl was part of the aesthetic of the surf scene and it had a cool vibe about it.
