March Birthdays 
Some of you may remember her from the girls with guitars thread. She's 8 now 
. She prefers to play hookey from her piano lessons to figure out tunes like various bits of the Nutcracker on her own.
For a preamble to her latest antics, I've been learning Penetration.
Well, she's one of those who can't seem to not make sound 24/7. At some point, she's about at the end of my rope. So I tell her to disengage her vocal cords. She replies that she wouldn't be humming except that I keep playing that song.
Couple days later, I'm practicing it again, on the latest pink tele which I've put together on a budget (she's already claimed it, of course). She proceeds to tell me I can't play that song on that guitar. Why? No whammy.
Geez.
Still, it's better than having dull children.
