El Zeb appears to be a trio, and a Dusty Watson project. According to this Facebook page (translated):

Obviously, a bit was lost in the translation.
Also, from El Zeb's Facebook page:
"This is the story about a guy from Brussels named Sebastian who, while working as a roadie for Dick Dale on his European tours, came to know the King of the Surf Guitar personally. Dick even became like a second father to him, teaching him surf guitar, martial arts and how to rear crocodiles. Recently Sebastian (alias "El Zeb") formed a band in order to perpetuate the sound and style of Dick Dale, and from what we've heard, he does his self-proclaimed title of 'Sultan of Surf Guitar' more than justice." -Rolling Stone Weekly

Dusty recorded 4 songs with them and is going on tour. Seb (Zeb?) is Sébastien Fevry from Los Venturas.

Still loving the Sharkfest EP he did with Los Venturas (he left the band pretty early iirc), and just hearing Dusty play again might be worth a little road trip... I hope the TBAs turn out to be something manageable for me.
I wonder how much about the Dick Dale story is actually true, though. But hey, isn't that the core of every Dick Dale story?

If you got the chance, go see him, he's amazing.
About the story... A big part is tongue in cheek.
But they did meet while DD on tour in Europe.
Sebastian is a right handed 'regular' player but for this project he switched his strings upside down. To play the songs how they were originated and played at the time.
His style of playing and accuracy make me think of Ivan's. I guess, somehow, it's a compliment for both.
Though Sebastian is not known THAT much in the scene, for me he's a legend and not because of the fact Is have played with himn for years (venturas and shadows band). His style and musicianship is so unique.
Jeff, maybe An idea for next year's convention??

And also featuring 2 ex Deltone members on drums and rhythm guitar.
