I think there's a good chance he would. He's currently in Seattle, involved in a 2-month musical project (three or so weeks into it), so I don't know if he has the time at the moment, but the best thing to do is contact him and ask.
Good luck! You WON'T regret doing this!

Seattle sounds good news.
I found this recent interview with Alex, It's on topic and deeply interesting.

Ditto! I must have missed this on FB, but just watched it and it was very interesting. Alex is a very deep musician.

Just a head's up for anyone else wondering. I contacted Alex for some Skype lessons a few days ago. He wrote me back and said he's not doing them anymore and that he'll get back to it "sometime". (No date given).
There's a program called JamKazam that I have used with great success which enables musicians to play together in real time, with both audio and video. I think an official SG101 members band would be fun to start! If any drummers have an electronic drum kit, that would be ideal.
You'd need a fast internet connection via an ethernet cable, an audio interface, and a mic (webcam is optional). A 90mb down and 10mb up connection would be needed (as a minimum) to reduce the internet latency.
