1st time attending tour, where do we meet?

In the parking lot at the Corona factory, 9:30 ish for 10 am tour.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

What’s the address?
When I look it up in Apple Maps, I get two addresses:

I’m really stoked to meet everyone!

The cut off was awhile back....

All, get there at 9:30 am,
Craig Skelly of the Breakaways will be the head SG101 rep.
I need to get to Alpine Village to set up amps with Ran n Emillo.

Reminder, SG101 member Meet n greet,
At alpine Village, 4-8 pm on Friday
Before the music starts.

Ok no problem. I didn't read the whole thread.
I live close enough to go over on my own time.
No biggy.
Thanks for the reply.

Joel,
The tour is not open to the public anymore.
Go ahead and go. Just keep an eye open sometimes.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

I won't be able to make it this Friday. My 2 spots can go to someone else. Sorry Cry

Hi Gang,
Jeff (BTD) has asked me to be the liaison between us all and Fender for the Factory tour because he will be setting up for the convention all day Friday. I called and confirmed the tour this Friday, August 4 at the Fender Plant in Corona. The address is 311 Cessna Cir, Corona Ca. Plan on arriving at 9:30 Am and wear closed toed shoes. No sandals and ladies, no heels. We will stage in the area outside the entrance (see Picture) and from there we will all have to sign a waiver to enter the facility. The tour lasts around 2 hours and will be very fun and interesting. Add questions, I'll check the thread regularly. See you Friday at 9:30 AM!

Thanks Craig!

I'll be helping Jeff with the setup at Alpine Village, so feel free to take my spot.

When you have to shoot ... shoot! Don't talk.

The main building, not where the Visitor Center was, has two entrances. Both have a red roof. Go to the red roof on the South side, closest to Railroad Ave. There are two large Fender headstocks in front at the entrance.

Anyone want to venture a guess on drive time at that hour of the day from Redondo Beach area?

All I wish I knew what they were talking about

Many thanks to Dave (SlacktoneDave) for organizing the Fender factory tour for us. It was wonderful Dave...thank you.

Big thanks to Dave Wronski and Fender for arranging this for us. My little brother and I highly enjoyed the tour, it was very cool to see all the folks at work sanding, soldering, testing, ect. It was also nice to meet Craig, and Paul "ColtSurf", two very kind fellows.

During this tour I learned that there must be a lot more guitars in this world than I originally thought. The number of Strats, Teles, and Jazz basses was amazing.

Thanks to everyone involved, that was a very impressive tour!
Many many thanks to Dave for setting the tour up, and it was fun to see him working at the factory as well.
The quality control on even the regular guitars was impressive.
I have a much greater appreciation for the quality of Fenders brand of guitars.
Thanks again everyone !!
