Just wanted to put in a good word for these neat little amps from Roland. I bought the 50 watt 1x12 awhile back for $199 and it's well worth the money and you can tweak it with the Boss Tone Studio software. There's also a 100 watt 1x12, 100 watt 2x12, and a 100 watt head. The 50 is plenty for me but some folks like more power. I've gigged with mine and never got it off the 25 watt setting. Check 'em out - GC or SA and there's a bunch of vids on YT but most are shredders but it works good clean also.

Just picked one of these up as well, but the 100 watt version. Sounds really great for a solid state amp. Also, with the Sneaky Amps you can dial up some Fender-inspired models that can't otherwise be accessed straight from the amp. Using the Sneaky Amps and the Tone Studio I was able to dial up some nice Pro, Twin, and Deluxe Reverb tones, as well as a decent Bassman. I had a Katana 100 112 and it did a great job on three gigs back to back a couple weekends ago. Then I found out a store nearby had the 100 212. Had to have it. Throw the Surfy Bear Fet Reverb in front and you're in big surf land! Add some dirt from the amp and you can get some big Deadbolt sounds. Stack reverbs and it gets super washy. Lots of fun at half the weight of a Twin and a heck of a lot cheaper! |
