Hi all!
New to this forum. Found it because I was looking for sites to list on. I'm selling an original Fender Showman Amp, cabinet, and outboard reverb.
All original and sounds and works perfectly. In mint condition. However, I will not ship. Would like to sell locally in San Diego or anywhere in SoCal if the buyer is willing to drive down to pick them up.
Asking 4000 firm.
Here is my eBay link with the photos

This amp got my curiosity going. It's very odd.
The Reverb unit looks to be a 1963 unit in rough blonde tolex and wheat grill. looks good to me.
But, the Showman raises some questions. The tolex is smooth blonde, and at first glance, it looks maybe like gold grill cloth? If it's all original, then this would be correct for a early 1964 Blackface Showman. But, the stamped serial number on the back puts it at 1967 production. And, looking close at the pics, it looks like the faceplate and back panel read "Fender Musical Instruments" instead of the correct pre 1965 pre-CBS "Fender Electric Instrument Co." The more I look at the grill cloth, the more "wheat" it looks. I see no gold thread.
So, unless I'm mistaken, this is a 1967 Showman that has been either put into a 1964 cabinet with super rare grill cloth, or a totally re-covered '67.
More pics of the insides would be a big help.
It's a cool amp - I hope nobody thinks I'm trying to tear it down in any way - Good luck with the sale!

I agree with Sonichris. Looks to be a Blackface unit that's been recovered.
