I hope this is the birth of something more permanent. And whenever I switched it on (the last of three times was this morning), the Hicadoolas were on! So much for hearing some surf bands from out of town... So thanks for all the pictures and videos so far and yet to come! The secret gig was a pure dream for me ,Lorenzo and Bradipos IV ! A big thanks to all the friend i have meet during this 4 days (new and older) A big thanks to Bjorn to come and also let me play in the Surfy industries room (i don't know for you but for me during the festival miss my guitar and cat too !)i am in hurry to mount the surfy trem Another big thanks to all the band ,people who come and made this event the best of the surf music in europe to all i said See You Next Year (less than 360 days !) For me this was definitely the best and coolest version of this song ever (recorded or live, whatever.) Tomorrow Men: Surf Music that just makes happy. Played with a positive attitude, NO ego musician thing, just playing surf music for the people! Smile and you get back a smile! A lot of great moments again at this Surfer Joe 2017!!! My highlights: The Tomorrow Men, The Tomorrow Men, The Tomorrow Men. And Los Freneticos! And El Ray! And Los Banditos! And Randy Holden! ...ah! And Huntington Cads! — Twang cheers! I lost Day 1 because of the flights, but here are some short reviews.. Bamboogie Injections. First time, they was very good. El Ray. One of my top 5 of this festival. Amazing gig, they was so good.... always is like the first time, AMAZING!!! Los Banditos. Not my cup of tea, but what a great show... a PARTY!!! i enjoyed them so much Los Freneticos, FRENETIC gig... very good band Los Fantasticos. they were great. They know what they are playing and they loved it! me too! Surfer Joe & Band. How the hell can he being everywhere, doing almost anything and playing so cool? can i drink the same Lorenzo? (hahaha) Insect Surfers. No words. I'm not the best to review them because i love them sooooo much The Huntington Cads. End of story, it was an honour to see them playing live and meeting them. So cool persons, so good band. It's on my top 3 list ever. End of Story (thanks Chris and Josh for talking and everything). Jason Lee & The RIP Tides. Amazing party at tiki room. The Akulas. my very big surprise (even if i was expecting to be good), they were more than good. Everyone loved each song. The new era in instrumental surf music. The Kingargoolas, Brazil is the new world surf place The Tomorrowmen, Honored their history The Surfin' Lungs. I ENJOYED every f@cking minute. The best way to close this festival. I was touched when they played WHO STOLE THE SUMMER? after 20 years for me.
